The Missing Ingredients

The original logo felt generic and forgettable. It lacked the refinement, symbolism, and visual structure needed to stand confidently on shelves or stand out among competitors. Shenelle had explored other design directions before but struggled to find a look that felt premium yet reflective of nature and craft.

The Craving

Shenelle, founder of De Jeunésse, came to us with a vision of creating a luxurious, handmade bath and body brand that felt distinctly Caribbean. She needed an identity that would set her apart from competitors and prepare the business for growth into hotels, spas, and export markets. Her goals included cohesive product packaging, elevated marketing materials, and a logo with long-term brand recognition.

The Recipe

Through our Creative Brief, we uncovered key differentiators: the brand’s use of natural ingredients, its eco-friendly packaging with seed paper included, and its positioning as a source of “local luxury.”

 

The brand needed a logo and packaging system that could adapt across product types while maintaining elegance and consistency. Her top priorities were scalability, shelf appeal, and a clear visual identity that reflected the quality of the ingredients inside.

The Baking

We developed a visual identity that blends nature, self-care, and sophistication. We explored concepts that blended nature and movement, evoking youthfulness, growth, and simplicity without feeling rustic. The final identity features a refined wordmark and an elegant, fluid symbol that incorporates a leaf, a flame, and a stylised silhouette; connecting ideas of nature, warmth, and care.

 

The logomark was designed to be versatile enough for stamps, jars, boxes, and digital use. We then extended the identity across a full suite of product packaging, including soap boxes, body butter jars, and a multi-product special collection, each with layout systems and colour accents that made the full line feel cohesive without being repetitive.

The Frosting

With its new identity and packaging system, De Jeunésse reflects the same quality and intention as its products. The designs feel both handmade and high-end, supporting Shenelle’s goal to attract spa buyers and expand across the Caribbean.

 

Seven years later, De Jeunésse has moved on to building on the brand identity by making their own edits and additions to their product lines packaging, but the logo continues to be a lasting part of their growing brand.
